I had a fantastic lunch at Aspendos Mediterranean Cuisine today, and it exceeded my expectations from start to finish. The restaurant is beautiful inside, with a warm, modern atmosphere that feels inviting the moment you walk in. Even the landscaping outside is gorgeous and makes a wonderful first impression. I ordered the shredded short rib wrap, which was absolutely delicious. The beef was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the fresh ingredients complemented it perfectly. I also had one of their freshly baked flatbreads, which came out warm with an amazing texture and flavor. To finish the meal, I treated myself to the chef’s signature poached pear. It was beautifully presented and absolutely divine . It was the perfect ending to an outstanding meal. The service was friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout my visit. Between the exceptional food, relaxing atmosphere, and wonderful hospitality, this was easily one of the highlights of my trip. If you’re in the Princeton area and enjoy Mediterranean cuisine, I highly recommend Aspendos. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town!

Alex was our host and server and was phenomenal! Friendly and knowledgeable about the restaurant and its offerings. We had the kofta and chicken shish kabobs and ended up sharing each plate bc the food was so good. The kofta was soft with a nice crust and came with red onions that added that wonderful crunch. The shish kabobs was served with a hot pepper paste that made you go back for more. The baklava was out of this world fabulous. Shaped like a cannoli and covered in crunchy pistachio and ice cream The whole experience was wonderful but the best was the Turkish coffee to wrap up. I could come back here tomorrow!!

A good mediterranean option on Nassau street. It’s a little pricy but the food is worth it. The balloon bread and the short rib were great. My friends enjoyed the flatbreads as well. Would come back on a special occasion.

Best Mediterranean in Princeton! Taste, Service, Location, Atmosphere, Cleanliness - Though a casual dining experience on Nassau Street, nothing about this place is casual!! We are returning!!!

We’ve been coming to Aspendos for some years now since it first opened. Grateful to have a nice halal restaurant in Princeton for special occasions. The food is prepared very thoughtfully. The complimentary fresh hot bread with cheese and olive oil is wonderful. We’ve tried several dishes over the years. Food is overall enjoyable but for the high price still leaves a little bit more to desire; the taste in most dishes could be slightly improved to make it from good to amazing! The service is overall pretty good (a few times very good!) but can vary. The decor and indoor table set up is nice. Lovely big windows. Enough space for plenty of people. Usually not very packed. Not loud, feels relaxed. The location is a very short and convenient walk from parking nearby Lot 10 when it’s cold out. Hope this restaurant continues to do well and hopefully even better as time goes on.
